Spring (summer) softshell fabric – sold by the metre

Uninsulated softshell for spring, summer and warmer autumn days, also referred to as summer softshell or spring softshell, is one of the most popular materials for sewing trousers, jackets, windbreakers, vests and children's outdoor clothing. Unlike winter softshell, it does not have a fleece backing but a lightweight polyester grid lining, making it lighter, more breathable and suitable for warmer weather.

Summer and spring softshell – lightweight functional fabric with a membrane

This 3-layer functional fabric combines a water-repellent polyester outer layer, a breathable polyurethane membrane and a lightweight inner polyester grid that helps transport moisture away from the body. The material offers 7,500 mm waterproofness and 2,000 g/m²/24 h breathability. We have been using the softshell fabrics offered by Jozanek® in our own clothing production for more than 15 years, so their quality has been thoroughly tested in real use. The material meets the requirements of Ökotex Standard 100, Class 2, contains no PFAS or PFOA, and is kept in large stock quantities. If you are sewing clothing for colder autumn days, early spring or winter, we recommend our winter softshell fabrics with fleece backing.
