High-quality softshell – protection from wind and rain

The jacket is made from so-called winter softshell – a functional three-layer material combining water resistance, breathability and thermal comfort:

• 🧵 middle layer – breathable polyurethane membrane
• 🧵 inner layer – warm fleece (100% polyester)

Spring and autumn babywearing jacket for mild winter too

Winter softshell has fleece on the inside, which feels warm to the touch, but it is not a truly insulated winter fabric. It is ideal for autumn, spring and milder winter weather (approximately down to +5 °C). In freezing temperatures, we recommend adding warm base layers – for example a sweatshirt for both mother and child. If you feel the cold easily, choose an insulated winter jacket instead.

Softshell itself is not very insulating, but it retains heat extremely well, blocks wind and resists rain. When babywearing, your shared body heat increases the warmth even more – an ideal choice for active mothers!

Two fit ranges – designed for different body heights

• 👩 Standard fit – for average-height and taller women
• 👩 Petite fit (up to 165 cm) – not merely shorter, but proportionally adjusted as well (different waist position, shorter sleeves, etc.)

Choose your size as you would for a regular women’s jacket – the jacket must fit properly without an insert and without the child. During pregnancy or babywearing, simply zip in the appropriate insert to add the room you need.
